Described as a “great neighborhood in a great location,” Antiquity is a growing, up-and-coming neighborhood in Cornelius, North Carolina, 20 miles north of Charlotte.Antiquity backs up to Davidson, which makes the location convenient. It’s a mixed-use development, continually adding new businesses and shops. Residents of Antiquity will enjoy the proximity of grocery shopping at a brand-new Harris Teeter, as well as outdoor dining and recreation.
Antiquity homeowners will have exclusive use of a community pool, and there’s a greenway just outside the neighborhood. Trails within the neighborhood, nine mini-parks and athletic fields will offer plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors! There’s a planned 30-acre park, which will surround the village, and a 2,500-seat amphitheater will host various summer performances.
The development houses single-family homes, townhomes and apartments. Currently, single-family home prices range from about $260,000 – $490,000, while townhomes run $175,000 – $250,000. Plans include more than 1,000 residences.
Antiquity is a “smart-growth community”, a designation meaning developers work to preserve and enhance an area’s natural and cultural resources. This includes mixed land uses, walkable neighborhoods, open spaces, ties to existing communities and natural beauty.
